Blue Oasis at Siesta Dreams is a calm, coastal two-bedroom suite on a long canal, about 5 minutes by car from Fort Myers Beach (longer in peak season). Newly renovated in soft blue, aqua and tan, it feels like a deep breath the second you walk in, and the screened porch over the water is the best seat for morning coffee.
The suite has a fully equipped kitchen, a full bath and a living room with plenty of seating and a 65″ TV for movie nights after a day in the sun. With two bedrooms, it works well for families, two couples traveling together or anyone who likes a little extra room to spread out.
Staying about 2 miles north of the island means you skip the bridge for grocery runs and dinners out, and you’re a quick drive from the best beaches around Fort Myers. A 2-minute walk gets you to the trolley stop, where 75 cents takes you to the beach. Back at Siesta Dreams, launch a kayak into the mangroves or grab a chair at the canal-side fire pit. Book Blue Oasis on Airbnb or VRBO, by itself or with the other three suites.
What our guests are saying…
Blue Oasis is on the front right side of Siesta Dreams, with two bedrooms, a full bath with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room has plenty of seating and a 65″ TV, so it’s easy to unwind together after a day in the sun.
Soft blue, aqua and tan run through the whole suite, giving it a cool, coastal calm even on a hot Florida afternoon. Step out to the private screened porch for a view down the long canal.
Blue Oasis is about 2 miles north of Fort Myers Beach, not on the sand, which keeps everyday errands easy with no bridge to cross. Drive to the beach in about 5 minutes (longer in peak season), or walk 2 minutes to the trolley stop for a 75-cent ride. New to the area? Our parking and trolley guide has the details.
Publix is about 4 minutes by car, and Surf Style is about a 10-minute walk. Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf is about 20 minutes on foot, just under a mile. When it’s time to pick a beach, our beach guide rounds up the best spots around Fort Myers.
The mangrove lagoon behind the property is made for exploring at your own pace. Use the kayak launch on the north side, ask us for our recommended kayak, paddleboard and bike rentals, and check our kayaking guide for more spots to try. Bringing a boat? The two new boat docks are usually reserved for long-term slip leases, but it’s worth asking about availability.
Evenings here are made for the canal-side fire pit, with Adirondack chairs looking out over the boat basin. You’ll also have grilling areas for easy cookouts, free off-street parking and a shared laundry room with two stacked washer and dryer sets.
Blue Oasis pairs well with Turtle Cove, the other two-bedroom suite on the front of the property, for families traveling together. Add Tommy Bahama and Lover’s Key and your group has all four suites.
Pets aren’t allowed at Siesta Dreams (we love them, we promise), and it’s a non-smoking property. Booking is through Airbnb or VRBO only. Siesta Dreams is owned by Anne and Shane, Florida licensed real estate brokers who opened the suites after Hurricane Ian, when the area needed more places for visitors to stay.
About 5 minutes by car (longer in peak season). Or walk 2 minutes to the trolley stop and ride to the beach for 75 cents.
Both are two-bedroom suites on the front of the property with screened porches over the canal. Blue Oasis is decorated in calming blues and aqua, while Turtle Cove leans Old Florida with turquoise, green and tan.
